Dr. Saurabh Kamat

Dr. Saurabh Kamat is a skilled Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Goa Dental College and Hospital. He is actively involved in academic teaching, clinical practice, and professional development in the field of maxillofacial surgery.

He is the Co-Founder of Southern Edge Education and serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Goa Chapter of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI). Dr. Kamat is the inventor of the “SauFRa Technique”, an innovative method for the fixation of resorbable membranes in horizontal guided bone regeneration, contributing significantly to surgical advancement and clinical outcomes.

Dr. Kamat has delivered lectures at national and international conferences and has multiple publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals to his credit. Through Southern Edge Education, he actively organizes specialized courses and hands-on training programs, promoting continuous learning and skill enhancement among dental professionals.
