Dr. Sankalp Mittal

Dr. Sankalp Mittal is a highly accomplished Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist with over 25 years of extensive clinical, academic, and administrative experience. He completed his BDS from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Manipal University. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in advanced implantology and complex maxillofacial rehabilitation in India.

Dr. Mittal has been serving as a teaching faculty at Government Dental College (RUHS), Jaipur, since 2005, currently holding the position of Professor and Postgraduate Teaching Guide. He has supervised 30+ postgraduate dissertations in oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology and serves as a subject specialist for the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.

Clinically, he leads state-of-the-art implantology centers at Mittal Dental Clinic and Saket Hospital, equipped with advanced technologies including CBCT, digital scanners, implant planning software, 3D printers, and milling units. He is a pioneer in zygomatic implants, post-ablative maxillofacial rehabilitation, and TMJ surgeries, including TMJ internal derangement surgeries under local anesthesia.

Dr. Mittal holds prestigious fellowships and diplomate status from ICOI, WCOI, AOI, and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow. His implant fellowship center has been recognized by the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India as one of the only five post-MDS implant training centers in India.

An accomplished academic leader, he has served as Registrar, Rajasthan State Dental Council, Head of Department, Superintendent, and Additional Principal at Government Dental College, Jaipur. He has organized multiple national and international conferences and delivered 100+ podium lectures across implantology and maxillofacial surgery forums.

Dr. Mittal is a Key Opinion Leader and Mentor for leading global implant companies including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Noris Medical, Dentium, DIO, and IFix Implants. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and continues to contribute significantly to clinical excellence, education, and professional leadership in dentistry.
