Dr. Lanka Mahesh

Dr. Lanka Mahesh is an internationally acclaimed Oral Implantologist, academician, and researcher, known for his outstanding contributions to implant dentistry, education, and clinical innovation. He holds B.D.S., MBA, Diploma in Hospital Administration, Diploma in Health & Hospital Management, and a Ph.D. in Integrated Implantology.

He has completed his Master’s Certificate in Implant Dentistry from UCLA, USA, and CUFD, Thailand. Dr. Mahesh serves as a Visiting Professor at UCAM (University of Murcia), Spain, and is the Academic Director of Post Graduate Education at UCAM. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Periodontology at Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Pune, and a Visiting Professor at Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Turkey. In addition, he is an Honorary Visiting Professor at ITS College of Dentistry, Ghaziabad, and an Honorary Consultant to the Armed Forces of India.

Dr. Mahesh is a Fellow and Diplomate of ICOI (USA), Diplomate of WCOI (Japan), Diplomate of APAID (Taiwan), Fellow of the International College of Dentists (USA), and a Fellow and Credentialing Committee Member of WAUPS (Korea). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Oral Implantology and Clinical Research.

A globally recognized speaker, he has delivered lectures worldwide and authored 225+ publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He is the author of several landmark textbooks, including “Practical Guide to Implant Dentistry” (Quintessence), “Practical Manual of Digital Implant Rehabilitation”, “Peri-Implantitis – An Insight”, and co-author of the Colour Atlas of Oral Implantology, released by the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

He has been honored with the Albert Einstein Award for Academics and Research and was listed among the Top 100 Future Leaders of India (2023). Currently, Dr. Lanka Mahesh is engaged in private specialized implant practice at The Specialist Clinic, New Delhi, while continuing his global academic and research endeavors.
